Ridgefield Democrats Urge Voters to Approve Ballot Questions

In Stories by Alex Harris

After careful review and deliberation, the Ridgefield Democratic Town Committee (DTC) voted to support approval of all twelve questions on the 2018 ballot and to encourage voters to answer “yes” to each question. DTC Chair Alex Harris said, “The DTC believes each initiative advances the cause of good government, increasing transparency, accountability, fiscal responsibility, efficiency and effectiveness.”

To assist voters in considering the ballot questions, the DTC released a “Ridgefield DTC Guide to 2018 Ballot Questions” — click here to view/print/save the guide. The guide lists each question as it appears on the ballot, followed by a brief “plain language explanation” and a brief “reasons for supporting”, providing simple, straightforward explanations of each proposal and the DTC’s reasons for urging voters to answer “yes”.
